  1. Description of the Activity: This activity is to encourage children to read books. They will learn about narrating and how to peruse, illustrate and create their own stories. They explore the concepts of beginning, middle, and ending by reading, creating and listening to stories and utilizing pictures to portray them.
  1. Objectives: To promote reading habits and to develop listening and writing skills ; to engage children in the craft of narrating ; to create public speaking aptitude ; to enhance learning through reading
  1. Outcome: Develop their story-writing skills;  apply what they have learned about the structure of the stories; develop a love for reading and motivate reading through learning.
  1. Frequency with duration: eg. Every day, 30 minutes per session.
  1. Target audience with age groups: Children of 3-5 years and 6-8 years
