Description of the Activity: Story telling in sign language will be carried out in Dhivehi and English narrations with video animations.
Objectives: To narrate stories in Dhivehi and English in sign language with video animations ; to provide an opportunity for hearing-impaired children to enjoy story telling through virtual book fair.
Outcome: Listen/understand and enjoy the narrated story.
When : Everyday
Target age groups: Ages 6-12 years
The IQRA book fair is an annual educational event organized by IUM. The main objectives are to encourage and sustain a reading culture by disseminating information about books, journals, and audiovisual materials from of various disciplines’ and to make these easily available under one platform.
