The 1st Bookfair was held on  9th and 10th July, 2018. 8 exhibitors took part, including 4 major Bookshops, namely Asrafee, Novelty, M7, Message of Islam, and 3 institutes: Maldives Law Institute, Dhivehi Bahuge Academy, Ministry of Islamic Affairs and an individual author/publisher Aina Publications.
