Book 1: Zain looks forward to go to grandmother’s house for the weekend and listen to grandmother’s story. The family gathers at grandmother’s house and help her while she makes different food item using breadfruit. Grandmother later picks a story from the Vaahaka Goani and tells the story of why the crows are poor.

Book 2: Zain looks forward to go to grandmother’s house for the weekend and listen to grandmother’s story. The family gathers at grandmother’s house and visit the kandoofaa and help and watch grandmother making different food items using kandoo with her friends. Grandmother later picks a story from the Vaahaka Goani and tells the story based on two young children and how their mother helped them resolve a conflict they had.

Book 3: Zain looks forward to go to grandmother’s house for the weekend and listen to grandmother’s story. The family gathers at grandmother’s house for a big lunch and participates in the competitive funa oh (ފުނަ އޮށް) championship, which is played annually in the family. Grandmother later picks a story from the Vaahaka Goani and tells the story based on  a young boy who faced problems because of his greediness and not listening to his parents advise.

Book 4: Zain looks forward to see the family during the weekend and listen to grandmother’s story. The family gathers at the harbour and go fishing on a small boat. Grandmother later picks a story from the Vaahaka Goani and tells the story based on a young girl who catches small fish from a nearby river and how she one day lost all the fish in the fish pot.

The family gathers at grandmother’s house and go to the beach to collect sand ( (ގޯތިތެރެއަށް އަޅަން )and play in the sea. Grandmother later picks a story from the Vaahaka Goani and tells the story based on how a small girl gets rescued from her evil family and later reunited with her ‘changed’ family after a short adventure with small fairies.

Book 6: Zain looks forward to see the family during the weekend and listen to grandmother’s story. The family gathers at grandmother’s house and builds a tree house and play and eat. Grandmother later picks a story from the Vaahaka Goani and tells the story based on a hunter who gets injured and trapped in the jungle and how a pigeon helps him.

Book 7: Zain looks forward to see the family during the weekend and listen to grandmother’s story. The family gathers at grandmother’s house, prepare colourful kites and go and participate in the kite festival celebrated by all the islanders. Grandmother later picks a story from the Vaahaka Goani and tells the story of a boy who encounters with a small male fairy and how he lost the opportunity to have great powers that could help him to become a powerful hunter.

Book 8: Zain looks forward to see the family during the weekend and listen to grandmother’s story. The family gathers at the harbour and go on a diving trip to a nearby shipwreck. Grandmother later picks a story from the Vaahaka Goani and tells the story of a women who was changed into a woodpecker because of her greediness and mistreatment of the king of the fairies.

Grandmother later picks a story from the Vaahaka Goani and tells the story of a young women who fights and successfully in ward off a huge bear who threatened her.

Book 10: Zain looks forward to see the family during the weekend and listen to grandmother’s story. The family gathers at grandmother’s house and go camping to a nearby nature park with a beautiful kulhi. Grandmother later picks a story from the Vaahaka Goani and tells the story based on a group of evil men who terrorised nearby villages and how a small group of rats defeated them.
